What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your life and career?
Completing this degree has made me a better person and given me the confidence that I can achieve whatever I set my mind to, even with various obstacles to overcome. A B.S. in Natural Resources will give me the added tools I need to excel with the USDA Forest Service.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
I found OSU Extended Campus after I had started attending another university close to me. My commute time alone was three hours, two days per week. I was also working 40 hours per week. Ecampus gave me the flexibility to go to school, work and attend to my three children. I was able to do my school work on my own schedule and when I had extra time. Without this opportunity, I would not have finished my degree.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
Marge Victor has been extremely helpful since day one. She advised me about which classes to take. Marge was also very easy to visit with in person, on the phone and through email. Without her assistance, I don't think I would have finished my degree.

What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
My degree will allow me to pursue a career in the field of natural resources. It will help me to do a better job in protecting our natural resources for my children and grandchildren.
