Sean Grunwald - It's Never Too Late

What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your life and career?
The completion of my degree means the completion of a project that started almost 20 years ago. It was important for me to finish in order to show my kids that it is never too late to finish something that you have started, and how satisfying it is. Completing my degree will help to open new doors to a career that I will hopefully enjoy, and that allows me to enjoy my family.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
OSU Extended Campus was a great option for me. It allowed me the flexibility to complete my degree while still supporting my family, while not having to uproot them. Distance learning is a challenging form of education but very rewarding at the same time: it results in what you make of it.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?

Everyone involved in Ecampus has been very helpful. Instructors, advisors, the bookstore, library and support staff have all been there when I needed them. I would have to say that I felt more support via OSU Extended Campus than I did as an on-campus student at another university. I would highly recommend OSU Extended Campus to anyone looking to complete their college education or just to increase their knowledge.

What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
This degree will allow me to compete for a career that I will enjoy, as well as to set a good example for my children.
