Ed.M., Organization and Human Resource Education
Salem, Ore.

What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your life and career?
Completing my master's degree means I am able to open doors to work that inspires me. Inspiring work makes me feel more alive. It benefits my health, my family and others.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
I decided to complete my Ed.M. online through OSU Extended Campus because I needed a flexible program of study to continue my employment. In addition, my husband and I desired to start a family and were seeking a program that would allow me to continue my studies should we be blessed with a child.

My program's setup is excellent and offers a combination of face-to-face and online instruction. We welcomed our son into our lives midway through my program, and I was able to continue my studies without interruption.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
Every instructor in my program has been influential in helping me succeed as a distance student. They all offer continuous encouragement and belief in my abilities. My cohort has also played a major role in my success.

What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
A few of the things my Ecampus degree will allow me to do is instruct at a community college or university, design training documentation and evaluate organizations.
