What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your life and career?
Completing my degree is a stepping stone that drives me closer to pursuing a graduate degree in mental health counseling.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
I chose the Extended Campus option for a couple reasons. For one, I knew Oregon State University was a commendable college to attend. Second, I needed the flexibility to create my own schedule due to my current job that takes me all over the country eight months of the year. I can't beat the fact that I was able to study before or after a full workday no matter where I was located.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
My advisor, Kathy Fultz, was excellent. She was optimistic, well-educated and caring. I made a special stop to see her when I visited the campus last summer. I just had to meet the lady who had helped me so much. Rebecca Brown and Rachel Dilts are a couple of instructors who were influential and supportive throughout my online journey.

What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
My Ecampus degree will open up many possibilities for my future. My plans are to apply for graduate school, which will propel me closer to my ultimate goal of helping others via counseling psychology.
