2012 OSU Ecampus graduates

Elizabeth Donkor – Who says school is a drag? Not this grad

B.S. in Natural Resources
Frederick, Md.

What does earning your OSU degree mean to you?
I am extremely excited and very grateful to my instructors and academic advisors. Earning my degree means everything to me! For a time in my life, I thought it was never possible, but through OSU and by the grace of God, I am a graduate now. It is just amazing.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
The relaxed nature of Ecampus but the seriousness on the part of both students and professors makes it is very unique. One can learn and still have fun at the same time.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
My instructors and academic advisors, Marge Victor and Blair Banks, are great people who relentlessly have supported me through my journey at OSU. I am very grateful to them all for their love and encouragement.

What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
My degree will help give me a platform to teach others the need to take care of our environment and the benefits we will get from doing this (being cautious of the environment, plants, animals, lands, soils and water).
