I don't know my GAP. How do I get a new one?
Answer:

Your GAP (General Access PIN), is originally assigned as your 6-digit birth date. For example, if your birthday is January 1, 1979, your GAP will be 010179. When you first log in to the Online Services page, it will prompt you to change your GAP to a more secure number. Once you have set up your ONID account, you may also log in with that information.

If you have any problems with your OSU ID number or GAP number, call the OSU Registrar's office at 541-737-4331 or contact them via email.
