When I try to register, I get a 'prerequisite not met' error. What do I do?
Answer:

If you have not completed the prerequisite for a course or you are a nondegree admitted student, you will receive a prerequisite error message when you try to register. For most courses, you must email the course instructor. Let the instructor know the courses you have taken that you believe meet the listed prerequisites. Some instructors may require a copy of your transcript.

Once you have obtained the instructor's approval, forward this to ecampus.ess@oregonstate.edu. Include your full name, OSU student identification number, the course name and the CRN.
