How do I find my OSU student number?
Answer:

Once you are admitted, you will receive your OSU ID number from the Office of Admissions. If you have misplaced it, you can obtain it from Student Online Services. To do so, please follow the steps listed below.

  1. Log in to Student Online Services. You can use your Social Security number instead of your OSU ID. You will also need to enter your General Access Personal identification (GAP) number. If you do not remember this, you will have to make up a new GAP. There is a "Forgot Gap?" button to do this at the Student Online Services login page.
  2. Once you are logged in, click on "Personal Information."
  3. Click on "View your OSU ID."
