Class Lists

Web Access for Faculty and Advisers

Banner Web for Faculty and Advisers provides access to class lists, student schedules and basic student information including student email addresses, and provides advisers access to transcripts, advising worksheets, degree audits, and student PINs via the Web.

Here's how it works:

Web for Faculty

Faculty members who have been officially assigned as instructors for a class or classes will have access to the class lists for those courses. Also available will be basic information (name, address, email, major, etc.) about students in your classes. If you have not been officially assigned as an instructor for the course, contact your department for assistance.

To access Web for Faculty & Advisers, go to:

  1. OSU Home Page
  2. Select 'Online Services' from the black menu bar at the top of the page
  3. Select 'Online Services Login'
  4. Login with your ONID user name and password
  5. On the Welcome page select Faculty & Advisers.  From there choose your desired list.

Web for Advisers

Advisers who currently have Banner access for advisers are eligible to use Web for Advisers. You will be able to access some basic student information (name, address, email, major, etc.), unofficial student transcripts, advising worksheets, degree evaluations (degree audit/progress reports), student advising PINs and student schedules. If you do not currently have Banner access for advising, you may submit a request for Access to the Computing Center, followed by a short mandatory training session.

To access Web for Faculty & Advisers, go to:

  1. OSU Home Page
  2. Select 'Online Services' from the black menu bar at the top of the page
  3. Select 'Online Services Login'
  4. Login with your OSU ID # and General Access PIN (GAP)

    -- If you have forgotten your GAP, click the 'Forgot GAP?' button. If you do not know your OSU ID you may contact the Center for HR Systems and Technology at 737-8300.

  5. Select Faculty & Advisers

Reminder: Please follow OSU guidelines for release of student record information.
