Marketing & Communication
Staff within the Ecampus Marketing unit provide the following services for faculty interested in developing and teaching distance education courses:
- Market research and analysis for potential new programs
- Targeted marketing plan for degrees and programs, i.e., direct mail, print ads, and online ads submitted to degree-specific sites
- Individual course listings on the online Ecampus Schedule of Classes and the OSU Online Catalog, and in Ecampus online publications (E-News and Course Flash)
- Program and course listings on a variety of external online learning websites and catalogs
- Advertising/broad media campaign-can include radio, billboards, print ads, direct mail as well as distribution of brochures and other Ecampus print materials
- Printed brochures for degrees and programs
- Internet marketing via search engine promotion, listings in distance education websites, and reciprocal Ecampus banner linkings.
