Popular music minor requirements
The online popular music minor requires a total of 27 credit hours, of which 15 credits must be at the upper division level (300-400). All courses are offered throughout the year, including OSU Summer Session.

For the upper-division popular music classes students need to either:
Complete: MUS 102 *Music Appreciation II: Periods and Genres: Introduction to Popular Music Theory and Practice AND complete at least two other lower division courses in popular music OR get instructor permission to register for upper-division courses.
