Careers: B.A./B.S. Women Studies – Online
This program was recently renamed. Starting summer 2013, it will be the women, gender and sexuality studies program.
An undergraduate degree in women studies is a stepping stone toward careers in advocacy, criminal justice, education and social work. Many of our graduates also use their degree as a foundation for graduate school or law school.
Here is a sample list of job titles for women studies majors:
- Clinical social worker
- College professor
- Human rights advocate
- Journalist
- Lawyer (many women studies graduates go on to law school)
- Legislative aide
- Labor union organizer
- Rape crisis program director
- Victim’s advocate
