Human Development and Family Sciences

The Department of Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS) is a part of the College of Health and Human Sciences.
The College of Health and Human Sciences requires that you are in good academic standing prior to changing into our majors. If you have an earned OSU grade point average, it must be a minimum of a 2.0 to change your major to HDFS.
You can proceed with this orientation form if you have a 2.0 OSU GPA or higher. If you do not, please work with your current adviser on GPA improvement strategies. This would not apply to you if you have not taken an OSU course yet.
