Before registering online...

Before registering for online courses, please make sure that you consider the following steps:

Apply for admission

Before you can register, you must be admitted to the University and have an OSU ID and GAP number. To apply, visit our Apply for Admission page.

Select your courses

Visit the Ecampus Schedule of Classes to choose your classes for the upcoming term. Make sure you write down the course CRN number, prerequisites and course availability.

Know important dates

Visit the Academic Calendar to make sure you stay organized throughout the term. Here, you will find the first day of the term, finals week dates and important dates such as the last day to add or drop classes.

Check your computer

Find out if your computer has everything it needs in order for you to take courses online through our Check Your Computer page.
