ANTH 433 – First Americans, Last Frontiers (4)

The initial human occupation of the Western Hemisphere is explored with particular emphasis on northeast Siberian cultural progenitors, routes and timing of entry into the Americas, population dispersal theory, the paleoenvironmental record, and human cultural responses to the conditions of the last frontier prior to 8,000 years ago. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
