Financial Aid
Federal, state and institutional financial aid
Degree-seeking distance students admitted to OSU may be eligible for federal and state financial aid through OSU if enrolled for 6 or more credits per term as an undergraduate. Graduate degree/certificate students need 5 or more credits per term to qualify.
If you wish to seek financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application and list Oregon State University as your school choice. You may complete the FAFSA online. Please direct your questions to the OSU Financial Aid Office at 541-737-2241 or you can call our Ecampus office at 800-667-1465, and we will transfer you.
A need-based Ecampus grant is available to students who are admitted and enrolled in program of study offered through Extended Campus. (A program of study is defined as an undergraduate or graduate degree program or minor, undergraduate or graduate certificate program delivered through Extended Campus.)
The OSU Financial Aid Office will award eligible recipients at the time of packaging based on financial need level. Funds are limited and are awarded on a first come first served basis. The awards may be granted up to $1000 per term and cannot be used for expenses other than Ecampus tuition and fees.
