And sometimes it takes the wisdom of an entire community to create them.<\/p>\n<p>In the Oregon State University\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ecampus.oregonstate.edu\/online-degrees\/graduate\/college-student-services-administration\/\">college student services administration<\/a> (CSSA) master\u2019s program online and on campus, students delve into difficult topics and challenge each other to consider new insights with respect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe discuss issues facing students today, which sometimes means hard conversations, sometimes disagreements,\u201d says Kim McAloney, CSSA alumna and instructor. \u201cThose are the places where we get pushed out of our comfort zones and grow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s those diverse perspectives within the learning community that contribute to a shared objective: making a difference in the lives of college students.<\/p>\n<p><em>Julie Cooper is a student marketing writer for Oregon State Ecampus.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\"><\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minute read<\/span><\/span>In the college student services administration master&#8217;s program online and on campus, students are faced with challenging, complex conversations about their field.
