You can browse through various studies and websites that summarize research pertaining to the effectiveness of online instruction.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.merlot.org\" target=\"_blank\">MERLOT<\/a> (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching)<\/strong><br \/>\nMERLOT is a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students of higher education. Links to online learning materials are collected here along with annotations such as peer reviews and assignments. This is a good place to pick up online resources for your courses.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/onlinelearningconsortium.org\" target=\"_blank\">Online Learning Consortium<\/a> (OLC)<\/strong><br \/>\nOLC is dedicated to helping learning organizations continually improve quality, scale, and breadth according to their own distinctive missions, so that education will become a part of everyday life, accessible and affordable for anyone, anywhere, at any time, in a wide variety of disciplines.<\/p>\n<p><!-- <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.free.ed.gov\" target=\"_blank\">FREE \u2013 Federal Resources for Educational Excellence<\/a><\/strong>\nMore than 30 federal agencies formed a working group in 1997 to make hundreds of federally supported teaching and learning resources easier to find.
