Her research background in is microbial ecology and bioinformatics, and she has been a developer and contributor to several open source bioinformatics projects.\u00a0Tracy has a Ph.D. in Computation and Neural Systems from Cal Tech; a Master\u2019s Degree from UCLA in Organismal Biology, Ecology, and Evolution; and a Bachelor\u2019s from UCLA in Cybernetics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a
