Nondegree Online Orientation Login

Welcome to Oregon State University

Oregon State University campus

Who should take this orientation?

This version of the Ecampus Online Orientation is designed for those who have been officially admitted to Oregon State Ecampus as nondegree-seeking online students.

Why should I complete this orientation?

As an online nondegree-seeking student with Ecampus, you will navigate the process of taking Oregon State classes without access to an academic advisor. While we do have many support personnel and services to assist you, you will be responsible for learning and abiding by the policies and procedures that guide your studies at OSU.

This orientation provides a comprehensive introduction about how to get started, and be successful, as you begin your studies. You must complete this orientation before you are able to register for classes. Once you complete the orientation, you will receive an email with a registration PIN, which will give you access to register. More information will be available in the orientation on this process.

What should I expect?

It should take you about 25-45 minutes to complete the orientation. Your progress will be saved and you may stop and return at any time. This is the first of four basic steps you must go through in order to begin taking classes online at Oregon State.

  1. Take the Online Orientation
  2. Select courses and review any required prerequisites
  3. Work with Ecampus to request registration overrides if necessary
  4. Register and prepare for classes

NOTE: The Ecampus resource guide is designed to accompany the orientation process and serve as a resource you can refer to throughout your time at OSU. Download and print the resource guide, or save it to your computer or mobile device.
