Tuition and Financial Aid

Ecampus tuition and fees are charged per credit hour and do not differ for in-state versus out-of-state students. Ecampus courses are totally supported by tuition and fee revenue. Tuition and fees for Ecampus courses are set at levels necessary to cover the direct costs of providing the courses.

On-campus students: Ecampus tuition and fees are charged in addition to your on-campus tuition and fees, and it is based on the fixed, per-credit rate. Ecampus courses are full price regardless of the number of other credits that students take during the term.

Degree-seeking distance students admitted to OSU may be eligible for federal and state financial aid through OSU if enrolled for 6 or more credits per term as an undergraduate. Graduate degree/certificate students need 5 or more credits per term to qualify. (Please note: The Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics and the Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics are not yet approved for financial aid eligibility by the U.S. Department of Education.)

If you wish to seek financial aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application and list Oregon State University as your school choice. You may complete the FAFSA online. Please direct your questions to the OSU Financial Aid Office at 541-737-2241 or you can call our Ecampus office at 800-667-1465, and we will transfer you.

The Ecampus need-based grants may be awarded up to $1,000 per term and cannot be used for expenses other than Ecampus tuition and fees.
