Transfer Information
Tools for Course-by-Course Transfer Evaluation
The following two links give students access to the course transfer tables for each community college and university in Oregon:
- Oregon Colleges and Universities Course Equivalencies
- Oregon Community Colleges Baccalaureate Core Course Equivalencies
The transfer tables are arranged with the transfer school course listed in the left column, and the OSU-equivalent course listed in the right column. The tables are helpful when determining how your courses from another Oregon institution will transfer into your OSU degree. Please note, OSU has not reviewed transferability of all courses from all institutions. Courses not listed will be reviewed after your application and acceptance to OSU.
Advanced Credit Opportunities
Advanced Credit Opportunities are available for Military Personnel, for credit by examination or CLEP, Advanced Placement or AP, International Baccalaureate or IBA, or by Exam transfer Credit. If you have questions, contact the Admissions Office at 800-291-4192.
The Admissions Office will complete an official evaluation of transfer credits after admissions applications are processed. This evaluation is called the Advanced Standing Report, and is mailed to you.

OSU Transfer Course Search
Use the OSU Transfer Course Search if you are transferring from an institution that has sent students to OSU in the past. Your coursework and the OSU equivalent courses may be included in this database. A worksheet can be created for use in educational planning with this tool. Please note that this database is built only from courses that have been transferred into OSU in recent years.
Transfer Courses From Other Oregon Institutions
OSU may not offer all the courses necessary for Bacc Core online. Explore Oregon One to find available courses from other Oregon schools online. This website gives access to the Schedule of Courses for each Oregon institution. Students need to work directly with the Admissions Offices at each school for information on applying and registering for classes. Review the OSU Transfer Course pages described above, to make sure that the courses selected will satisfy OSU degree requirements.
AAOT-Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree from Oregon Community Colleges Online
Oregon community colleges offer the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree (AAOT), which is guaranteed to transfer into OSU and will automatically waive OSU's Bacc Core requirements. Students opting to take this degree will move directly into their four-year degree program, beginning with junior class standing.
For example, read the curriculum guide for Portland Community College AAOT degree.
Some community colleges have more extensive online course offerings than others.
The OSU Bacc Core list identifies courses that will work for each core subject area. It may be more efficient to take courses equivalent with the OSU Bacc Core list, than completing the full AAOT. You may want to use the course transfer tables and the tools mentioned above to see which courses transfer from community colleges.
Oregon Community College Visits and Fairs
Oregon Community College Students: During January and February, an Ecampus representative will visit each Oregon community college during the annual Oregon Transfer Days tour. To find out when we'll be visiting your community college, check out the Transfer Fair Schedule. Feel free to drop by the Ecampus table to gather information about our programs and services, or contact Mary Caughey to schedule a half-hour pre-enrollment advising session.
