Staff Bio

Devin is the Director of Alternative Credentials at OSU’s Division of Educational Ventures. He will lead the new unit focusing on the development of short-term, high-quality credential programs that assist students in gaining specialized knowledge and skills, building toward higher levels of education, and advancing their careers. These credentials will incorporate employment and occupational data, work closely with academic units across OSU, and be developed in collaboration with industry and state partners. Ultimately, he envisions offering high-quality, cost-effective programs that support OSU’s strategic vision for the future.

With almost 15 years of experience in the higher education sector, Devin has previously served as the Assistant Dean of Graduate Studies at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland and as the Director of Academic Operations at St. Charles Community College in the St. Louis Metro region. He has a passion for providing students with the skills they need to succeed.

Devin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and communication from Boise State University, a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Northeastern University, and an educational doctorate (EdD) from Concordia University.
