Register: Chemistry and Lab Courses – Online

Are you a current OSU student?

If yes, taking the online chemistry sequences is just like registering for other OSU courses. Find the CRN of the course you want and register for class.

Not a current OSU student? No problem!

In order to enroll in any of our online chemistry courses, you will need to apply as a nondegree-seeking student. (This is for anyone who is interested in taking just a few credit courses from OSU but does not want to pursue a full degree with us.)

The application process involves creating a login account, filling out an application form and paying a nonrefundable $30 application fee. It takes a few days for OSU to review your application and set up your student account. Once you are accepted you will be able to register for these courses.

Registering for class is quick and easy

First, locate the CRN for the course you want. The CRN is located under the course listing in our schedule of classes. You will also need your General Access PIN number, which you got when setting up your student account during the nondegree-seeking student admissions process. Then, go to OSU's online services, log in using your General Access PIN and go to the section that says "registration."

You are ready to start!
