HST 101 – +the Ancient Mediterranean: Origins of the West I (4)

Introduces the political, social, religious, and cultural history of the ancient and early medieval Mediterranean and bordering regions. Interrogates the concept of "the West" in an historical and scholarly context. Covers pre-history to 1000 CE.
