COMM 114 – +Argument and Critical Discourse (3)

Focuses on audience-centered “everyday” reasoned discourse. Addresses the nature and role of argument in learning, dialogue, deliberation, and decision-making. Includes material on ways that arguers try to gain adherence, such as providing reasons to justify actions, attitudes, beliefs, values, and needs.
