WGSS 140 – AI Through Gender, Race, and Justice (3)

Examines ongoing systemic inequality and potential harm to already marginalized people based on gender, race, socioeconomic status, age, sexual orientation, and ability in society by the use of AI. Introduces an analysis of consumption, environmental impacts, and algorithm development through anti-racist, decolonial, and justice frameworks toward transparency, cooperative, and consent-focused AI development by using multidisciplinary perspectives.
