CROP 200 – Crop Ecology and Morphology (4)

Introduces the concepts and principles of crop ecology, morphology, and agroecology. Examines the dynamics and function of crop communities, the biotic and environmental interactions that influence crop productivity, and complex factors impacting agroecological systems. Focuses on the fundamentals of the morphological features of seeds and plants in relation to the identification of crop families and species of economic importance. Explores agroecological scientific processes and resulting impacts on cropping systems. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
