SW 201 – Introduction to Social Work (4)

Introduces the values base of the social work profession and its ethical standards. Traces the history and development of the social work profession. Emphasizes principles of human rights and application toward realizing social, racial, economic, and environmental justice. Applies frameworks of ethical decision-making as a social worker in simulated settings. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
