CE 202 – Civil Engineering: Geospatial Information and GIS (3)

Introductory design principles presented with the use of GIS and geospatial information (remote sensing, GPS, surveying, and aerial photography) for civil engineering problem solving. Introduction to the integration of geospatial data and analysis for decision making and management for site selection, mitigation, change analysis, modeling and assessment. Standard software and custom programming used in course. Students participate in both individual and team projects and presentations. Projects from the area of civil engineering. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
