OC 203 – +Oceans, Coasts, and People (3)

Examines our oceans and coastlines on a global, regional, and local level by looking at people, communities, and institutions. Employs social science perspectives and methodologies to quantitatively and qualitatively examine the relationships between people, institutions, and oceans and coasts that affect changes in the health of the ocean and coast as well as the well-being of individuals and communities. Identifies the best practices based on evidence to enhance the health and well-being of social and marine systems that are interconnected.
