ART 204 – +Introduction to Western Art: Prehistory to High Middle Ages (3)
Explores Western art and architecture from the Paleolithic era to the Romanesque period. Examines key developments and major monuments across various cultures, regions, and traditions. Emphasizes painting, sculpture, decorative arts, and sacred and secular architecture, providing students with a comprehensive introduction to significant artistic and architectural achievements in Europe and the Mediterranean world.
