ANTH 212 – +Europe Beyond the Touristscape (3)

Examines the European culture area from the anthropological perspective on contemporary issues with historical roots, exploring images of Europe in the popular imagination in contrast to European realities related to food, rural and urban life, gender relations and family, regional and national identity, migration and cultural diversity. Examines geo-politics, economics and the role of European Union. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
