KIN 212 – +Sociocultural Dimensions of Physical Activity (4)

Explores physical activity in contemporary society from a sociological perspective. Examines the interrelationships between socially constructed differences, social forces, systems, and structures, and physical activity. Emphasizes the role of major social and cultural institutions within the physical activity domain and their influence on physical activity opportunities, participation, and experiences.
