HSTS 213 – +Landscapes and Waterscapes in Indigenous North America (4)

Analyzes the history of Indigenous peoples in North America and their relationship to the natural environment, as well as the characterization of those relationships in popular media and political culture from the colonial era to the present. Emphasizes the impact of colonialism and industrialization on natural systems and Indigenous peoples' strategies for restoring traditional ecologies in the past, present, and future.
