MTH 227 – +Calculus and Probability for the Life Sciences I (4)

Reviews exponential and trigonometric functions, including examples of exponential and periodic behavior, specifically with population models; defines discrete probability with biological examples, including conditional probability; investigates and constructs discrete difference equations in life science contexts; defines limits and derivatives, developing these notions with life science examples involving polynomials, exponential and trigonometric functions. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
