TRAL 227 – +Outside: Sharing Your Outdoor Origin Story (3)

Explores multiple dimensions (e.g. social, economic, educational, environmental, political) of outdoor recreation, nature-based tourism, natural resource management, and the human connection to nature. Investigates these dimensions as they relate to communication and media processes, providing an overview of the means by which the public accesses and shares information about the outdoors. Encourages introspection and expression of one’s interest in, attraction to, and perspectives regarding the natural world. Provides opportunities to demonstrate communication competence via delivery of unique communication products. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
