NUTR 241 – Applied Food and Nutrition (1)

Applies nutrition theory from general human nutrition courses (NUTR 225 or NUTR 240) using a dietary analysis project and hands-on recitation activities. Assesses diet and activity patterns with attention to the limitations of current tools. Develops skills in interpreting food label information and critically evaluating nutrition information through comparison with credible sources. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
