Explores health literacy and media processes to design effective verbal and nonverbal health communication messages to a wide range of audiences. Utilizes behavior change and communication theories to translate health and science data and information for useful messaging. Examines cultural specific adaptations to meet the needs of diverse audiences. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
