ANTH 252 – +Wealth & Poverty (3)
Summarizes the distribution of wealth observed cross-culturally and through time, with a particular focus on the United States. Examines through the lens of anthropology the factors that contribute to economic inequality, evaluating how cultural constructions of race, ethnicity, gender, and other aspects of identity affect wealth distribution. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
