Explores historical context and current perspectives on the various aspects of new media including linear, nonlinear, time-based, ambient, wearable, and interactive media. Includes the primary topics of digital cinema (compositing and nonlinear access), information theory, visualization, interactive narrative, user interface/experience, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and virtual space.
