Fosters understanding of meanings of foods and foodways in the United States as they have developed through time and across geographic and social space. Uses food as a lens to explore general topic areas such as work, family, and identity. Critically examines core issues shaping American culture and society. CROSSLISTED as ANTH 261/FCSJ 261.
