HST 280 – +Africa and the Transatlantic Slave Trade (4)

Explores various scholarly works and interpretations of the Transatlantic Slave Trade and the ways it shaped social and cultural realities around the world. Analyzes the economics of the Atlantic Slave Trade, focusing on the unequal impact of the slave trade on communities located in West Africa and throughout the Black Atlantic.
