HST 317 – +Why War: a Historical Perspective (4)
Inquires into the origins of mass violence and possible solutions. Uses historical methods, problem solving frameworks, research strategies, collaboration, peer reviewed scientific studies, and case studies seeking solutions to international war, civil war, revolution, terrorism, genocide, nuclear war, and weapons of mass destruction. Provides practice and engagement with historical methods for life-long learning using critical thinking, evidence analysis, facilitation and research skills to share meaningful, open minded communication about war and peace in an interdisciplinary setting. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
