ENSC 321 – Environmental Case Studies (3)

Develops professional and scientific writing abilities through the analysis of current issues in environmental science. Integrates and applies multiple aspects of environmental problem solving, including diagnosis of issues, articulation of solutions, and communication of recommendations in a policy or management context. Class Notes: Students in ENSC 321 will develop research, problem solving, and writing skills through the analysis of one or more current interdisciplinary environmental issues. In this course section, we will focus on the United Nations Decade on Ecosystem Restoration and learn to write for scientists, policymakers, and the general public while studying principles of ecological restoration. Campus restrictions extend beyond Monday of Week 10
