FW 324H – +Food From the Sea (3)

Explores where seafood comes from, and how it gets to the plate. Investigates how productive the world’s oceans are, and whether they can continue to feed (and employ) the masses. Discusses how different cultures, ethnicities, and regions of the world rely upon food from the sea for their daily meals and the importance of seafood to the world's total global protein consumption. Explores the cultural, societal, economic, practical, and environmental features of the protein that feeds billions. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
