ENGR 330 – +Inclusive and Equitable Engineering (3)

Analyzes how engineering practices, technologies, and institutions reflect and shape societal power structures. Examines historical and contemporary cases where engineering decisions impact systemic inequities. Explores how engineering methods and standards can embed cultural biases. Applies inclusive approaches and ethical frameworks throughout the engineering process. Develops strategies for creating equitable technological systems. Integrates theoretical foundations with case studies and discipline-specific projects. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
