FW 331 – Ecology of Marine and Estuarine Birds (4)

Explores the diversity of marine and estuarine birds: their life histories, foraging ecology, and their physiological and behavioral adaptations for the marine environment. Implements field and laboratory experiences to practice ornithological research methods including field observations, species identification, data visualization and interpretation, Discusses conservation concerns for marine and estuarine birds. Introduces topics in oceanography. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
