BB 332 – +Molecular Medicine (3)
Evaluates how the molecular aspects of medical advances contribute to inequality in our society. Analyzes the current, ongoing ways that institutions of scientific and medical power ascribe difference to groups of people, who are subjected to the deficits that result, and how other individuals may be unwitting beneficiaries. Examines the work of groups and individual advocates who are dismantling medically oppressive policies and practices. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
