FIN 341 – Investments (4)

Reviews basic securities such as stocks, bonds, options, and futures as well as the market infrastructures and mechanics surrounding each instrument. Explores basic valuation techniques and the theory underlying stocks and bonds. Topics including risk and reward characteristics of investments; sources of investment information; domestic and international security markets; investment characteristics of common stocks, debt securities, convertible securities, option contracts, and investment companies; real property investment; economic market analysis; technical market analysis; tax aspects of investments; and investment management. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
